The Melange Grey OutDoor Shirts for traveling and working in the sun is made of sophisticated SunTech fabric that ensures that the sun’s rays are blocked while maintaining the feeling of airiness.
The cut includes a combination of cuts on the back and internal nets to increase the feeling of airiness and evaporation of sweat. Hidden pockets, a smart collar that can be raised to protect the home front and all at a particularly high level of stitching and finish. The shirts are recommended for all summer trips and outdoor activities.
Outdoor activity is recommended to be done exclusively during hours when the sun is not scorching, i.e. before 10 am or after 4 pm. If you do find yourself traveling and active outdoors even during the hours when radiation is dangerous, it is important to cover as much body area as possible with clothes made of radiation-blocking fabric, these fabrics block 98% of the sun’s rays, unlike regular cotton fabrics which are transmitted to UVA rays. It is important to know that it is not enough to apply sunscreen while in the sun. Although the creams effectively block the sun’s tanning rays, they are not as effective against UVA rays that penetrate deep into the epidermis layer and over time change the genetic makeup of the cells.
Long-sleeved sun-blocking travel and work shirts are made in 10 shades: khaki, greenish, burgundy, melange gray, olive gray, navy blue, steel blue, light blue, optimistic blue and white.
To complete the sun protection, it is recommended to wear a wide-brimmed hat or a legionnaire hat that will protect all parts of the face and neck.
