Outdoor activity is recommended to be done exclusively during hours when the sun is not scorching, i.e. before 10 am or after 4 pm. If you do find yourself traveling and active outdoors even during the hours when radiation is dangerous, it is important to cover as much body area as possible with clothes made of radiation-blocking fabric, these fabrics block 98% of the sun’s rays, unlike regular cotton fabrics which are transmitted to UVA rays.
